CLCSP Partnership

Welcome to the Central London Church School Partnership, consisting of three 1-form-entry Church of England schools within the local authorities of Westminster and Camden.

Our schools are uniquely situated in the heart of the capital, ready to serve our communities. As schools within the London Diocesan Boards for Schools (LDBS), we take our mission to educate from one of the founding principles: ‘serving the children of the parish’. Deeply rooted in the Church of England's historic commitment to education, we provide an excellent education inspired by Christian values, welcoming and valuing every child regardless of faith or background.

Although we are a newly formed partnership, we are three schools who each bring a wealth of experience to the group. Our staff teams have a high level of knowledge of their school and its community. The partnership started in April 2025 with St Mary’s Bryanston Square & Christ Church CE (Regent's Park) joining together. In June 2026, St Mary Mags & St Stephen’s joined the partnership, forming the Central London Church School Partnership.

 We aim to enable our schools, as small one-form-entry sites, to thrive and serve their communities. We do this by making child-led decisions, setting high expectations and sharing our expertise across the group of schools. As Church of England primary schools, our schools’ vision and values drive our decisions, and we aim to reflect the communities in which we work, responding through our curriculum and decisions.

 Working in our schools, we hope and expect that all staff share the same goal:

growing in love, learning with purpose and flourishing with strength’

Our goal is to ensure that each child is provided with the experiences, learning, and opportunities that allow them to open any door they wish in the future.

The work of Senior Leadership is to create the conditions and environment where teachers can teach, children can learn, and everyone feels happy and safe.

 Our Partnership

Our three schools, St Mary’s Bryanston Square CE Primary, Christ Church CE (Regents Park) Primary & St Mary Magdalene & St Stephen’s Primary Schools, are  working together to provide high-quality education to children in our communities of Westminster and Camden. We do this in line with the vision and values of each school, whilst underpinned by the founding principles of church schools;

  • Parish responsibility – Every parish has a responsibility to serve its local community, including providing education for local children.
  • Education as part of the Church's mission – Schools were founded not simply to educate academically, but to nurture the whole child spiritually, morally, socially and intellectually within a Christian context.
  • Serving all – church schools were created to serve the parish; they have long welcomed children of all faiths and none, reflecting the Church of England's commitment to serving the whole community.

What this means for us as CLCSP is;

  • We exist to serve the children and families of our parish communities.
  • We provide an education rooted in the Christian vision of human flourishing.
  • We welcome and value every child, regardless of faith, background or ability.
  • We pursue educational excellence with compassion, ensuring every child can thrive.
  • We work in partnership with our churches, families and communities to enable children to live life in all its fullness.

 Our partnership believes that our schools should have space to share their unique identities and responsiveness to their individual communities; therefore, each school retains its own vision and values. We have shared the overview for each school below:

'Excellence with Compassion'

Our vision is based upon Jesus’ commandment in Mark 12:31:

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. And love your neighbour as yourself.’ (Mark 12:30-31)

‘Children are great imitators, so give them something great to imitate’

As a staff team we model the expectations for our pupils through personal and professional conduct. This is in both words and actions.

All staff will:

  • Actively promote the core Christian values of their school, including full engagement and participation in acts of Collective Worship
  • Demonstrate high standards of written and spoken English, ensuring excellent grammar and vocabulary at all times
  • Ensure all interactions with pupils, parents, staff and other stakeholders are consistently positive and respectful, and are conducted calmly (shouting is not permitted except in an emergency)
