SIAMs Inspection report
Tue 21 Jan 2020RE: SIAMs (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools)
I am writing to share with you the results from our recent SIAMs inspection, which took place on Monday 13th January.
I am very happy to confirm that the school has retained a ‘good’ status as a church school.
This is very pleasing news for us as a school and community. The inspection aims to answer the following question: How effective is the school’s distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils and adults to flourish?
The full inspection report is now available on our school website for you to read at your convenience. The report highlights the strengths and positive aspects of the school’s work, as well as the developmental area for future development.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at St Mary’s Primary and those within our community who have worked with the school in order to achieve this judgement, both present and in the past five years.
As a staff team we will now be using the identified areas of development to guide our future work to support everyone in our school achieving our school vision of ‘Excellence with Compassion’
